Party on the Patio!

I made colored Lego Ice Bricks for drinkies!

After dinner, it was cake time!

Syd wants a piece, too!

Friends gather for the ceremonial eating of the birthday Legos.

More cake!

After cake was presents. Surprise, surprise, he got TWO different Lego sets :-D Indiana Jones...

...and Star Wars!

A bagful of locally made chocolates from the Morgans!

Also a Bobble Head of Boba Fett, one of those crazy, anime-looking Han Solos, His lovely apron, and other things I missed because I was outside doing cleanup when he first started opening gifts. LOL

Han Solo rides one of the gifts I gave Ben, which is "Waldi," the official Dachshund mascot of the 1972 Munich Olympics. Please note his little Olympic tag!

In all, it was a great party and we went for about 6 hours. No one called the cops on us, and everyone was well fed and supplied with drinks of their choices. We had our favorite bbq with mac-n-cheese and slaw and beans. "Spike your own" punch as well as tons of beer. Actually, if you want some beer, please come get some from our tub (our "cooler" for all our parties!); We have enough left to have the same party next week!

Happy Birthday, Ben! I hope you had a great time :-D

Jennifer - Those Lego Ice bricks were one of my favorite touches. We also had a Lego brick bottle opener we had bought last year, so we got to use that for the beers :-D

I think we accomplished the theme pretty well. :-D

Very cute party! Holdyn will be very envious of Ben's Lego sets. He wants STAR WARS Legos from Santa. BTW/ I really liked your cake. Check out our blog tomorrow to see Evie's and Kallie's birthday cakes made by Mama Ford. Love you guys. Tell Ben Happy Bday from us!
