Busy day today, but wanted to share the nursery fabrics with everyone. My friend Callie, who is very accomplished at sewing, asked me to go with her yesterday to Mary Jo's in Gastonia, NC, which is like, the biggest fabric store I've ever been to in my whole life ever ever ever. She knew I needed nursery fabric and she was going to get some stuff to help her spiff up the pad for Thanksgiving guests, so I was super happy to have her help in picking out all the fabrics for Lilah's room. Without her, I might still be wandering the many, many rows of fabric bolts...
Here is what we came up with! See the paint swatch families at the bottom for how AWESOME everything goes together!

omg- i LOVE it!!!!! Those aren't even the ready made coordinating fabrics- I can't even pick those out! nice! I can't wait to see it when it's finished. get callie to tel yo the trick for the crib skirt so as it changes heights your skirt goes with it....use velcro- she'll tell you :-) how exciting!!!!
Those are great! I can't wait to see it all together.
Beautiful. Invite me over to your hood so I can see it. Owen can take care of Lilah, and you, Eliot, and I can go out to eat. Eliot is definitely the better twin to take to a restaurant - VERY cheap.
Oh, wow! Can't wait to see all that come together!
And you better get crackin'. You're running out of time!
Thanks everybody! I think it will really look nice.
Jeni - Yeah, thanks for pointing out THE OBVIOUS.
