But for the past two nights, I've slept for at least 2- 2.5 hours at a time, and have actually remembered some of my dreams.
Two nights ago, I had a dream that I was dating Anthony Hopkins.
Yes, Sir Anthony Hopkins. This guy:

Now, I really don't know what the fuck that means or why it was Anthony Hopkins, because I can ASSURE YOU - as far as my conscious self is concerned, I don't really care anything about the guy. I mean, I don't hate him, but I am not rushing out to see every fucking Anthony Hopkins film there ever was. I've almost convinced myself that he was just there because he was in "Meet Joe Black" with Brad Pitt and Brad couldn't make it to my dream because he has a million kids that were taking up his time.
ANYWAY - Dating Anthony Hopkins wasn't even the weirdest part.
So I'm actually even younger in this dream than in real life, like, I'm 25 years old, and Anthony and myself are POSSIBLY stuck on a cruise ship with these 18-21 year old type people, and one of them was playing some of the "hip cool music" that 18-21 year-old type people like to play, and one of the riffs of a song was familiar. Well, Anthony then gets up and starts singing along to this recognizable riff, and looking at all the 18-21 year old type people as if they were going to catch on to what the song was at any moment. He's making big arm movements, etc. And they're all just STARING at him like he is the biggest tard on earth. And I'm starting to get a little embarassed because he's my old man boyfriend, but they're all just punk 18-21 year old type people, and so I very calmly just look at one who is closest to me and say, "He's just trying to point out that it's from Bizet."
OK.
WHY am I dreaming that Georges Bizet gets sampled into a current pop/rap song???
I mean, I know modernizing operas isn't new - La Boheme becomes "Rent," and even Carmen, the Bizet opera that I'm sure was what I was dreaming of since it's the only Bizet opera that I know, was modernized in the 40s into "Carmen Jones," and in the 50s a movie starring Dorothy Dandridge and Harry Belafonte (and was also redone recently as "Carmen, a Hip Hopera" starring Beyonce. Or Sasha Fierce. Whatever that bitch's name is these days.)

BUT SERIOUSLY - Where does this shit come from?
So freaking strange.

I remember dreaming strange (even stranger than normal for me, but that's another post) dreams while pregnant. One recurring one was that I was at a bar (haven't been to one in like 10 years) with my boyfriend who was a professional wrestler. BTW, in my dream I was pregnant and MARRIED to K! The whole time I was worried about getting home to my husband and keeping my boyfriend a secret, what the...?! Dreams are so strange - especially preggo dreams
I too have stranger than normal dreams when pregnant. It's usually a sign to me that I'm pregnant. Once I had a dream that Blasen had a chinese girlfriend named Breakfast?! And there was another one when I was dating James Spader...you know of Boston Legal?? Wouldn't dating be the last thing you want to do as a pregnant woman?
I don't remember any dreams from being pregnant. But I do remember getting up to pee ALL THE TIME or waking up not breathing. I had every single pillow in the house (including throw pillows from the couch) to prop me up in bed. Maybe your body just wanted to be young, sexy, skinny and sophisticated one more time before it was covered in breast milk and spit up.
Jennie - LMAO at your pro-wrestler, extra-marital BF! It's like, dreams don't care if nothing in them is congruent...they just keep on keeping on!
Sara - I had crazy dreams before, but they did get really vivid there in the middle when I was actually doing more sleeping than getting up :-) How is it that we're all dreaming of dating other people? There has to be something to that. LOL
Cheyenne - Oh, yeah...I get up about every 1.5 hours to pee. My bladder seems to just want to work overtime at night. I'm not sure why, since I certainly can go more than 1.5 hours during the day without peeing. Not much longer, but definitely longer.
