Four weeks old and occasionally happy!!
We caved and bought a swing...she was clearly going to be soothed more by that than a bouncy seat. We'll keep the bouncy; we've heard some kids like them better when they're a little older. But the swing is only slightly bigger than the bouncy (size was our original main protest), and so stinking cute!

Don't let this face fool you...she spent a half hour happily rocking before it was chow time!

I LOVE that fabric. It's awesome. Aidan loved swinging when he was little. But mainly he loved that kind that swung him side to side, instead of back and forth. I loved that swing, it was the BEST.
Looove the swing, and even better the Ben-Muldrow look-alike in it. Wow, that child couldn't favor her daddy more if she tried. She is ADORABLE. Can't wait to get my hands on her!! A month old already!
Okay.. that thing I said before about her looking like you too... I take it back. But it's okay because my baby doesn't look like me either. LOVE that swing!!
That swing is adorable,, so is the baby in it. Izzy was the same way, it took her a bit to like her bouncy, but she loved it by the time she was 4 months old.
It's exciting isn't it...life with one arm/hand. You'll be amazed by what you can accomplish.
She is too cute, as is that swing.
AHHHHH that's the same swing we have, but your fabric is sooo much cuter...we've almost outgrown the swing, but I kind of want to buy the one you have!!! I can't see any of the other pictures, but your swing is adorable!
The swing was something we could not do without. With the girls we had 2! That swing is totally cute. Baby things are much more chic than when I had babies! We enjoy looking at Liliah's pics on the fridge everyday. Can't wait to meet her in person. Love ya'll!
Have you loaded/unloaded the dishwaher, brushed your teeth, blow-dried your hair or warded off nasty looks as you write a check with one hand yet? Now, do all of that while you're talking on the phone, and you'll feel like one of the cool moms. I like the swing! I can't believe how much she looks like her dad! I know how you feel...my daughter is the same way ;) Our Publix still has egg nog ice cream and I thought about you. It's really good and creamy and noggy.
April - I wish this one would rock side to side...I think she'd like that, too, but you can't beat the wee-tininess of this swing!
Jeni - I know, how crazy is her face? Even Ben's friend Brian said he thinks he's seen Ben make that little squishy face before. LOL
Lauran - LOL. I know, there are times where I think I catch a glimpse of myself in her...but it is just a fleeting second. She's definitely her father's child! And Matt is *SO* cute. I guess we're just lucky that WE think the daddies are so cute ;-)
Tracy - I hope you're right about the bouncy. It's pretty cute, too, and I'd like her to get some mileage out of it!
Sara - As soon as her head gets less floppy (which is happening a lot faster than I expected), I imagine my one-handed proficiency will go up ;-)
JTP - I don't know why you can't see the picture! They're all up on Facebook, anyway ;-p And when I saw that fabric, it really made me think we needed the swing. LOL
Jennie - We're coming down for a visit in about 4 weeks. Talk to Sara!
Cheyenne - Oh no - I'm not that super yet! But as soon as her head doesn't act like it's going to snap off her neck and I can bend over, I will be doing all that with my free hand:-D And you of all people DEFINITELY know what it's like to have a daddy look-a-like daughter!
