Five Months

I can't believe Lilah is five months old today. I just keep thinking about that teeny little baby that came home with us in January. Where did she go? She's blown through all these clothes...she now is in 6-9 month footie PJs because her body is so long. But she's still little, so they're all very roomy otherwise.

Then we have a little comparison:

Bath at 6 weeks old in February

Bath on Saturday night at almost 21 weeks old

That does not even look like the same baby!!!! But look how much she loves a bath. LOL

*sigh* Oh, time...stop flying!

Look at her so cute in her dress! She looks like such a happy, happy baby, Rachael. That means happy, happy parents! By shear coincidence, I am five months pregnant...almost to the day.

Girlfriend - if you think these five months flew - talk to me in NINE YEARS!!!!

Keep taking pictures and making these observations - enjoy every stage and every day - they're all blessings!

And I promise you, it gets better and better with every day!

She is growing like a weed! I was holding out that maybe once she started growing out of her baby-baby stage she'd look more like you...it's not happening. Every mom wants their kids to look like them. After all that hard work of pregnancy, labor, delivery, nursing, changing diapers, wiping-up spit-up, etc, is is too much to ask for your children to look like you?! People comment how none of my children look like me. I assure them I was definitely part of the whole process!
Regardless...she's a cutie pie. I hope to see her soon again!

So very cute! I love the past and present picture... and I beg to differ. She looks exactly the same! She has always been soooo cute! Never alien-like or strange looking. Always very very adorable. And I also want to say that I think that it is considered cheating to make it look like your baby can sit up on her own at 5 months, when my 7 month old refuses. Alas, I digress... ;)
