Break. Fast.

I wanted something different for breakfast this morning. I have approximately 300 kinds of quick breads in the fridge in both muffin and loaf form, but I wanted to eat SOME sort of protein. So when I saw my plain yogurt peeking out from the way back of the fridge, it hit me: breakfast trifle.

Since we are slap out of strawberries (except the ones I froze, and I was HUNGRY), I opted to use a blueberry muffin as my base. Slicing the muffin across the top, I made 6 thin sliced. I put down three, dalloped some yogurt, drizzled with honey, and then made a second layer.

It was good, y'all.

Try it some morning with a leftover muffin or piece of banana bread.

You won't be sorry!

Like almost dessert for breakfast good.
