- One set of bridal shower invitations that I made this week ended up being for a senator's daughter. Mother of the bride got my card from the lady who ordered them. That seems big to me - I mean, senators' wives have parties a lot...
- I got a call today for a job interview next week. It is essentially my old job, but with adults going back to school so they can re-enter the workforce after a) staying home with kids, b) being in the military, or c) being laid off from a plant/factory job. It is a part-time position, but that could mean one of two things: Part Time = 20 hours a week, perfect. OR Part Time = 32 hours a week so they can pay us a lot less so they can have two people do the work for cheaper than one and they don't have to offer benefits.
Clearly I'm not interested in door number 2.
I can't decide if I'm excited about these two developments or if I'm apprehensive because it might indicate something else.
