So...on Wednesdays, I work in a different office. It is like, free day for my mind and soul. I can read a book or work on the computer or whatever. Lately, I've had tons of design/photo work to do, so for the past three Wednesdays, that has taken up all my time.
Well.
Today I go back to my regular office, refreshed and ready to bust through Thursday and Friday without a problem.
But it seems like everything fell apart on Wednesday afternoon, and I walked into a war zone today.
On of the employees in my office "resigned," our 08/09 catalogs were FUBAR, and due to all the melee, I a) lost my "Sweet Sanity Wednesdays" at the other office so I can fill in the blank space left by the other employee and b) lost the day off I already had approved for next Friday because EVERYONE ELSE in the office has days off that day and I'm the least important so buh bye my needs. I was supposed to leave first thing Friday morning to go home :-( Now Friday is going to be a superlong day, since I said I could not work in the afternoon but would flip my hours and work in the morning instead but I will now I have to drive home after noon. So we'll get stuck in ATL Friday traffic around 3:00...He did seem glad that I didn't try to argue...
Ok, I'm back to the grind...gotta finish Ben's invitations tonight because starting tomorrow, I can't do anything but wedding programs until they're done. *sigh*
